Who will Operation Phoenix serve?

Operation Phoenix serves military veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, healthcare professionals, and their immediate families who are struggling with PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, or other challenges related to service. Through comprehensive treatment, peer support, education, and community-based recovery programs, Operation Phoenix helps participants rebuild their lives with dignity, purpose, and hope.

Is housing currently open?

No, not yet. Heroes Recovery Foundation is actively raising funds to develop our recovery campus and housing. With the support of generous donors and partners, we are working to create a safe, healing community for veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, and their families. Every contribution helps bring this vision closer to reality.

How can a veteran apply in the future?

While our residential campus is still under development, we are building a comprehensive admissions process to ensure every participant receives the care and support best suited to their needs.

Once the campus opens, veterans will be able to submit an online application through our website or be referred by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), healthcare providers, community organizations, first responder agencies, or other trusted partners. Each application will include a confidential review to assess eligibility, individual needs, and the services that will best support long-term recovery and healing.

We encourage anyone interested in future admission to join our mailing list for updates on our progress, program availability, and application timelines.

Our promise is simple: when our doors open, we will strive to provide a welcoming, respectful, and supportive path to recovery for those who have dedicated their lives to serving others.

Is the Foundation currently accepting donations and is it tax deductible?

Yes. Heroes Recovery Foundation is currently accepting donations to help bring our vision to life. Contributions support the planning, development, and future construction of our recovery campus, housing, and programs for veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, and their families.

At this time, Heroes Recovery Foundation has not yet received 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. As a result, donations are not currently tax-deductible. We are actively working toward obtaining federal nonprofit status and will provide updates as our organization progresses. Heroes Recovery Foundation has applied for federal tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We will update our donors as soon as our application has been approved.

We are incredibly grateful for the support of those who believe in our mission. Every contribution helps lay the foundation for a place of healing, hope, and recovery for those who have dedicated their lives to serving others.

Can businesses sponsor the program?

How can someone volunteer?

Volunteers are the heart of Heroes Recovery Foundation. Whether you have a few hours to give or are looking for a long-term opportunity to serve, there are many meaningful ways to make a difference.

As our organization grows and our campus is developed, volunteers will be able to support our mission in a variety of roles, including:

  • Administrative Support – Assist with office tasks, communications, and day-to-day operations.

  • Fundraising – Help organize campaigns, connect with donors, and support fundraising initiatives.

  • Events – Volunteer at community events, awareness campaigns, and special fundraising activities.

  • Garden of Hope – Help plant, maintain, and care for our healing gardens and outdoor spaces.

  • Meal Preparation – Assist with preparing and serving nutritious meals for program participants.

  • Transportation – Help provide transportation for appointments, community activities, and program needs.

  • Property Improvement – Support campus beautification, maintenance projects, landscaping, and facility improvements.

  • Career Mentoring – Share your professional experience by mentoring participants as they prepare for employment or career transitions.

Where will the first residence be located?

Our vision is to establish the first Heroes Recovery Foundation residence in a beautiful rural setting in Central Florida. Surrounded by nature and away from the stresses of everyday life, the campus will provide a peaceful environment designed to promote healing, reflection, and personal growth.

We believe that recovery extends beyond treatment—it also depends on having a safe, supportive place where individuals can reconnect with themselves, build meaningful relationships, and find renewed purpose. Our future campus will be thoughtfully designed to foster wellness through comfortable housing, outdoor spaces, gardens, recreational activities, and community-centered programs.

As we continue fundraising and finalize the development process, we look forward to sharing more details about the location and our progress.
